Welcome to Minka
Hello, I’m Lucy. I’m a Gem-A qualified gemmologist, and my love of stones took me from the Gem Palace in Jaipur to trading gemstones in London. I started Minka in 2016, naming it after my great-grandmother Minnie and my grandmother Katrina, both great jewellery lovers.
I choose every stone myself, working with cutters and dealers I’ve known for years, and each piece is made by hand in England. Whether you’re dreaming of an engagement ring or a new life for a stone you’ve inherited, I’d love to meet you in London.

Berlin Nights Ring
This show-stopping cocktail ring has been handcrafted in both 18k yellow gold and platinum, and set with a vibrant green tourmaline & flanked by trepazoid diamonds.
The actress Josephine Baker visited Berlin in 1925 and found that "the city had a jewel-like sparkle, especially at night.” we hope this ring captures this enchantment.

Its focus is on making fuss-free designs with simple clean lines, modern settings and a generous amount of gold - giving each exquisite gemstone the platform it deserves. Each piece is designed and made in the UK, led by striking, colourful gemstones sourced from all over the world.
Custom creations are at our core. Whether you’re looking to reset inherited stones, commission a one-of-a-kind engagement ring, or simply want to be involved in the design process, collaborating on a bespoke piece is a wonderful and personal experience.
Bespoke work starts at £6,000, made by hand in England in 5–7 weeks from design sign-off.
