Minka’s own spiral was inspired by those seen in Gustav Klimt’s ‘Portrait of Adele Bloch-Bauer’ from 1907 and ‘The Tree of Life’ from 1905. It conveys a sense of permanence and simplicity, as well as beauty and power – a fitting talisman for our complicated and distracted times.
