Interiors magazine Wallpaper covered Minka’s donation to the Women for Afghan Women charity auction. Minka donated a pair of 14-carat yellow gold and amethyst Athena hoop earrings, alongside jewellers such as Theo Fennell and Solange Azagury-Partridge. Bidding for ‘Jewellers for Afghanistan’ ran until 4 October 2021, with 100 per cent of proceeds going directly to the charity. ‘As a country we are lucky to have some of the most brilliant jewellers in the world and the sense of community within the British jewellery industry truly is second to none,’ says organiser Rosie Lillis. ‘I admire all of the brands involved tremendously: they could not be a more talented or generous collective and I am thrilled that everyone was so keen to unite to support such an important cause.’
